Pluto in Capricorn, Neptune in Pisces, and the USA Pluto Return

 There is a rising feeling in the world today about how governments and businesses are operating. People have started to pay attention to how these affect the typical person on the street and we are also becoming far more self-aware.

This is going to lead to a climax when we collectively realize that the old ways of living and working won’t cut it in the world today and we will begin to ask for change. Much of this is going to come about because of some of the more important astrological transits that are happening now or are about to happen. To understand all of this we need to look at each astrological happening in order and context, the first of which is Pluto in Capricorn. Here are the dates we need to take into account.

Pluto in Capricorn:

January 27th, 2008 to June 14th, 2008

November 28th, 2008 to March 23rd, 2023

June 12th, 2023 to January 22nd, 2024

September 3rd, 2024 to November 19th, 2024

To understand the impact of Pluto in Capricorn we need to go back in time and look at what happened. Pluto went into Capricorn during the same period as the Great Recession at the beginning of 2008. It then moved back into Sagittarius and then back again into Capricorn where it stayed during the winter of 2008. Before this happened we saw people around the world spending money without thinking about it. Many were borrowing money they couldn’t pay back and spending on things like housing. We also saw world issues like never before such as the War on Terror but at that time governments around the globe still had faith in government departments and those leading them. This is linked to Sagittarius being in the mix.

Then we saw a shift when Pluto went into Capricorn. Spending slowed down and people began to realize that they needed to take care of their money. The economy became far more important and people began to focus less on global problems and looked at things on the domestic front such as marriage equality. There was a new awareness that governments can’t always be trusted to do the right thing for the people and that many businesses are looking to increase their own profits while ignoring those at the bottom of the food chain. Then began movements like the Arab Spring and Occupy Wall Street, although these were at the start of the transit when Neptune was also in Aquarius which is the sign that rules collective ideas and activism.

Now we need to look at Neptune in Pisces, especially the key dates that this transit affects.

Neptune in Pisces:

April 4th, 2011 to August 4th, 2011

February 3rd, 2012 to March 30th, 2025

October 22nd, 2025 to January 26th, 2026

Neptune moved into Pisces in spring 2011 and then moved into Aquarius in the summer until winter 2012 and then back into Pisces. The period we need to look at is the time before Neptune moved into Pisces in order to understand what happened after that. It was the time when there was a huge spike in social media use and as Aquarius rules technology and Neptune rules community it fits perfectly that we saw a rise in social media culture during this period.

Pisces, by contrast, is linked to sacrifice and spiritual matters and being a water sign it has strong ties to compassion. This brings with it a rise in things like following a healthy lifestyle and an increased interest in spiritual endeavors like astrology and a turning away from social media, such as people disabling accounts. Tolerance for gay marriage has also increased as opposed to the Neptune-Aquarius period.

America’s Pluto Return:

The United States will see a Pluto Return in 2022 but we also need to look out for the transit Pluto which will be conjunct natal Pluto before then, in time for the 2020 election. How will this affect us? Pluto is linked to death and transformation. It basically shines a light in the darkness.

When the United States goes through a Pluto Return it will be faced with hard reality and will have to transform itself. Usually, this will focus on a shift in value systems and a rejection of old ways of doing things which no longer serve us. Some examples of this could be the two main political parties in the United States which require you to work until retirement age and accept this as the status quo, or educational institutions which often train us from an early age to accept perceived wisdom without question. The last example is religion which works on the idea of sin and the notion that we need to save ourselves by believing in God.

There is no doubt that these will continue to be huge parts of our lives as they are entrenched systems that have been in place for centuries, but they will undergo a transformation and will start to work for us instead of against us. We will be able to better choose our leaders and be able to accurately assess which ones are working for themselves and which ones have our best interests at heart.

When it comes to financial systems we may see a push for a higher minimum wage and for universal free healthcare to take care of us if we get sick, but then the old question comes back around, who's going to pay for it? In the realm of education, it may be that we see history being taught in a completely different way that shines a light on things that before now we didn’t want to discuss. Astrology itself may see more interest and people will begin to question why was it hidden in the 1st place?  Religion may start to focus less on the idea of original sin and more on personal responsibility and the media will need to make a shift to regain the people’s trust in its reliability and transparency. As of now, it is fake news, some are not, but use common sense when deciding.

In essence, all of these things are not working well for us now and this will have to change. Things may, however, get worse before they get better, as many of the ‘elites’ in our world already sense that their time in power may be coming to an end and will do everything to protects themselves. As we are witnessing now.  They are using threats like warfare to keep their grip over us politically and if we want to push back against this then we will need to wake up and realize that politicians, the elite, celebrities, and even religious leaders are not always working with our best interests at heart.

If we collectively move together to reject all these outdated ways of doing things that give power to a chosen few then we will see how we can take a step towards a better world that will ensure we as the people are the boss, not the PTB. The good news is that these astrological cycles are backing us up all the way and getting us ready for a change. And change we will see, not only in our political establishment but in ways that now are beyond our comprehension, for a few of us that is! Open up your libraries folks, dig deep for the truth,  do not ever take what is being spewed out in news media as the gospel, dig for the truth be honest to you!
