The Magician in astrology belongs to the planet Mercury, Mercury rules communication transportation, siblings relatives, Internet, communication, messages. The Tarot card The Magician belongs to the 3rd house in astrology.
The High Priestess in astrology rules the moon, intuition, ebb & flow, a knowing, psychic, The High Priestess card in the Tarot belongs to the 4th House of Cancer in astrology.
The Empress belongs to the planet Venus, Venus is the planet of love and abundance, a benefic planet, the Empress is a wife and mother. In astrology, Venus belongs to the second house and the seventh house. The second house in astrology refers to how you make your money, your assets in life Taurus rules the second house. The seventh house in astrology belongs to Libra, the house of significant other, and the people you do business with.
The Emperor, masculine, leadership, power of reason. The father. Belongs to the Sun sign Aries, which Mars rules. The first house in astrology.
The Hierophant, respect, teaching, traditional, the Sun sign Taurus in astrology rules the second house.
The Lovers, twin souls, choices to be made, love relationships, in relation to astrology the Sun sign Gemini belongs to this Tarot card. Gemini is the third house in astrology.
The Chariot, willpower, parents, either the mother or the father. diligence, strong motivation, belongs to the Sun sign Cancer which in astrology rules the fourth house of home. Endings.
Strength, compassion, awareness, and strength, in taking responsibility. emotional and mental strength. You have the strength to see it thru. Belongs to the Sun sign Leo which rules the fifth house in astrology.
The Hermit resembles service to others and their service to you. Health issues, need to be alone, inner wisdom, search within for answers. Belongs to the Sun sign Virgo in astrology rules the 6th house.
The Wheel of Fortune, destiny, good fortune, or bad fortune. Choices are needed. Taking responsibility for who you are. A new phase of life is beginning. The planet Jupiter of luck and expansion rules this card. Jupiter rules the ninth house in astrology.
Justice, harmony, fairness, cause, and effect, balancing the scales. Judges, lawyers, legal issues, settlements, The Tarot card Justice belongs to the Sun sign Libra which rules the seventh house in astrology. Justice would also belong to the 9th house in astrology, the 9th house of the higher courts, 7th house is the lower courts.
The Hangman at a crossroads, step back and look carefully, transition, limbo, sacrifice may be needed, frozen. Mysticism, illusion., confinement, dreamy. The planet Neptune rules this card. The 12th house in astrology.
Death, transformation, beginnings, endings. And the beginning of a new cycle. This sun sign Scorpio rules this card. The 8th house in astrology
. Temperance, higher education, religion, long-distance travel, philosophy, this card belongs to the Sun sign Sagittarius which Jupiter rules belonging to the ninth house in astrology.
The Devil, business, worldly status, career success, self-control, moderation, healing energy. Belongs to the Sun sign Capricorn which rules the 10th house in astrology.
The Tower, assertiveness, aggression, war, energy, unexpected events, breakdown of the old to bring in a new. The Tower in Tarot belongs to the planet Mars which rules the 8th house in astrology.
The Star, inspiration, a knowing that you will be successful. Seeing light at the end of a tunnel. The Star in Tarot belongs to the sun sign Aquarius which in astrology rules the 11th house, of hopes, dreams, wishes, & business. Your boss.
The Moon, illusion, unrealistic dreams, confusion, losing touch with reality, intuition, mystical, the unconscious mind. The Moon in the Tarot belongs to the Sun sign Pisces, which rules the 12th house in astrology.
The Sun, joy, happiness, positive energy, creativity, and self-confidence shining under the spotlight. To me, the Sun in the Tarot resembles Leo, in astrology Leo is the 5th house.
Judgment, transformation, need to be aware, accounting for past actions. In the Tarot, Judgement belongs to the planet, Pluto. Tearing down, building back up your foundation. Pluto so- rules the 8th house in astrology.
The World, structure, restrictions, limitations, boundaries. We are rewarded for hard work and effort. Relating to the Tarot, The World card is a positive card to draw. Fortune card. The World card relates to the planet Saturn which in astrology rules the 10th house of career & social standing.
So there you have it, The Major Arcana. These are the Tarot cards that are forceful, & dramatic in a reading. They outrank all the other cards both in impact & effect. Like the planets Pluto, Jupiter, Mars, Sun, Moon, Neptune, Saturn, and Uranus, in an Astrology Reading.
Then we also have the suit of Wands ~
which resembles our inspiration, the spiritual aspect of our lives. Ideas, ambition, growth.
Cups rules emotions. Our desires, felt inwards, not necessarily outwards.
Swords rule action! Movement, struggle, lots of tremendous activity, before getting final results.
Pentacles rule manifestation, prosperity, and realization.
