But, if you'd rather learn from books, then I wanted to introduce you to some great books that explain how to make an astrology chart and read it. Those kinds of books are super helpful for grasping astrology and using that know-how to better yourself, so I want to let you in on the best book choices I've discovered 🙂

Joanna Martine Woolfolk's The Only Astrology Book You'll Ever Need is a perfect place to start. It covers stuff like the sun signs, the moon your ascendant, and the houses. It also has birth date charts to help you build your own personal astrology chart and figure out what it means. This book is the very 1st book I ever purchased, & learned how to cast my own personal horoscope chart from my kitchen table when I was very young!

You can use the data and diagrams from that astrology book together with Bernadette Brady's Predictive Astrology: The Eagle and the Lark to make forecasts about the future. That book will give you insight into how planets and houses can predict things when combined with your astrological birth chart. So astrology can be used to get an idea of what might happen down the road.

David Williams wrote a pretty good book called Financial Astrology that shows you how to use astrology ideas to make your life better in certain areas. It gives astrology info about big money stuff that happened before and explains how to see upcoming chances to get money or other good stuff using astrology. You can follow & chart out your own financial windfall!

Sue Tompkins also wrote a book called Aspects in Astrology that's great for learning the basics of understanding how horoscopes work. She talks about why the horoscopes you see in newspapers and magazines why those horoscopes are a total miss for millions. She also gives information about how the transiting planets affect your zodiac sign.

If you're still unsure about the details of astrology readings after checking out the books I've mentioned above, The Complete Book of Astrology by Ada Aubin and June Rifkin is a great next step. It has the clearest explanations of all parts of astrology like sun signs, houses planets, movements of planets, the moon, and more that can impact your life.

Astrology is complicated but there are some key things to get. There are 12 zodiac signs that match up with the 12 months. The planets each connect with an element and the aspects between planets show how they relate and astrology charts help figure out how the planets and signs connect and impact someone's life. Astrology was around before Jesus walked the earth and people use astrology for everyday life planning.

To make your horoscope chart, birth chart, natal chart, blueprint all the same,  you need the exact location of your birth, date, and time you were born. See why those horoscopes you listen to on Youtube, or other platforms are a complete miss? Ya gotta have your info inserted into a horoscope chart (birth chart, blueprint, natal chart, again all the same) & then look at what personal planets/cusp, the transits are making an aspect to.

Astrology uses the sun, moon, Saturn, Venus, Jupiter, Mars, Neptune, Uranus, Mercury, and Pluto to make the charts. An important thing to remember is that Earth isn't included since that's our viewpoint. The sun and moon count as planets in astrology, even though they are luminaries.

The astrology chart has twelve houses, each one representing different parts of life like love, career, family, etc.

When looking at an astrology chart, the main thing to look at is one's rising sign, ascendant same thing, plus where the sun, moon, & and planets are lined up.

The interpretation of someone's birth chart in astrology will tell of one's potential, and tendencies, in life. Of course, nothing is set in stone, everyone has free will. As time goes on and life starts to unfold, choices will need to be made, it's in everyone's best interest to study & truly understand the birth chart, for it is from that point you will understand the gifts that were given & how those gifts can be utilized throughout one's life span.

Practicing astrology involves analyzing a chart to make predictions, as well as synchronizing the planets, and interpreting what you see.

Interpreting a birth chart and happenings, as well as any future happenings that might impact the person's future over time is an art. Astrology readings can even find major life moments that happened long ago, as well as what will transpire. Astrology is truly an amazing tool!

Astrology focuses a lot on the motions and alignments of planets. These can majorly impact every part of our life. For example, when Mars is retrograde it depletes one's vitality.

Whether you think astrology is a real science or not is up for debate. But like a science, it has its own language and terms. Astrology charts can range from just stating your Sun Sign (i. e. You're a Capricorn) to complex charts accounting for the exact time and location of birth.
