Mercury Retrograde:
Mercury will be retrograde on these dates:
March 22, 2018 – April 15, 2018, in Aries
July 26, 2018 – August 18, 2018 in Leo
November 16, 2018 – December 6, 2018 in Sagittarius
What does Mercury Retrograde mean?
Mercury Retrograde can be a difficult time for many as you could experience delays and problems with communication, transportation. Mercury is the rules of communication, data, transport, contracts, education and how we perceive the world. Mercury also rules the media, publishing, radio, television and public broadcasting. This means that you will often have issues with technology at this time such as computers and cars. When we see Mercury Retrograde in a Fire sign, we are want to speak rashly without thinking it through and are short of patience. You need to make sure that you remain humble and learn to see the funny side of life. Try to slow down and don’t rush things as you are prone to make mistakes now. You are also more aware of your subconscious when Mercury is retrograde so this is a good time to focus on your dreams and inner world – but you can also be a little dreamy in real life too so you need to check for mistakes and details at this time.
Venus Retrograde:
Venus will be retrograde on these dates:
October 5, 2018 – November 16, 2018 in Scorpio
Venus will also be opposition Uranus on September 12, October 31 and November
What does Venus Retrograde mean?
Venus will retrograde at the end of 2018 which happens around every year and a half. We will see Venus in Scorpio at 11 degrees and then in Libra at 25 degrees. Venus is the Planet of Love and is also about our values. In mythology, Venus was the Goddess of Love and Beauty. She also ruled possessions and prosperity. As such, this is typically a time when you need to focus on the things you love.
When Venus is in Scorpio this will be focused on how committed people are in their relationships. When Venus is opposite Uranus then this can cause relationship conflict. This means that it is a good time to ask yourself about your values in relationships. What kinds of relationships do you attract and how do these make you feel? You need to make sure that you make the most of Venus at this time and nurture yourself and your relationships. This planet is also known for ruling contracts, so when Venus is retrograde then you should avoid signing any formal contracts or deals. This is also a time when you need to look at all the relationships in your life, whether they are romantic or business related and make sure they are healthy. Also, never start any new relationships when Venus is Retrograde, they will not last. Rather that comes into existence after Venus goes direct, or 2 years from that, the relations you start new now will not last.
You may find you are less creative at the time of a Venus Retrograde. As Venus is about love, you may find your love or appetite for things decreases such as people around you or creative projects. As a result, like all retrograde, this is a time to reflect back on past relationships and think about the lessons you can learn from them.
Mars Retrograde:
Mars will be retrograde on these dates:
June 26, 2018 – August 27, 2018 in Aquarius
What does Mars Retrograde mean?
Mars is the power planet. Everything touched by this planet gets a kick of energy as Mars rules action, drive, and initiative. Mars will be in the sign of Aquarius for five months and will also be at the closest point to the Earth since 2003. This is going to bring anger issues to the surface. People around this time will be more liable to snap and you need to find a way to release all this pent up and aggressive energy. Mars Retrograde also shines a spotlight on groups, friends and your goals in life and you need to think about whether your actions align with results. Also, ask yourself if your friendships have become a little toxic now. This is also a good time to check in with your goals for the future and see how they are working out for you. You will also notice your mojo has got up & left during Mars retro! So tired! Also, if you know you are going to be sued, coaxed the other party into starting the law-suit now, who-ever starts the law-suit is guaranteed to lose, that also goes with starting a war, who-ever initiates loses.
Jupiter:
Jupiter will move into the sign of Sagittarius on November 8, 2018, to December 1, 2019. Jupiter will be exact from May 25 to August 19, 2018. It will be sextile Pluto on September 12.
At this time Jupiter will be in positive aspect with the planet Neptune which will bring many good things. This is a time for us to heal and it also makes us feel more positive. You may also feel more creative at this time and your dreams may be more intuitive and vivid. This can even bring someone special your way who goes on to be a soulmate figure. If you are already attached then relationships tend to be sweet and flow smoothly. This is also a time of great opportunity when you can make positive changes in your life which will bring about improvements of all kinds. With Jupiter retrograde, some of the promise (as with all retro’s) will be held back. You may think you are going to get a promotion, but with Jupiter retro, you may be skipped over, also, you may think you are going to get this huge raise, but with Jupiter retro, you only get half that promise if any of it at all. Think about it, what have you been counting on & when it came time, you were disappointed because either you did not get it, or, you felt cheated? Jupiter retrograde!
Saturn Retrograde:
Saturn will go retrograde on these dates:
April 17 to September 16, 2018, in the sign of Capricorn
Saturn is also conjunct Pluto on January 12, 2020, for the rest of the year.
Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto will be conjunct Capricorn for much of 2020.
Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto will be in Capricorn in February and March 2020.
Saturn will move out of Capricorn into the sign of Aquarius on March 23, 2020.
Saturn goes back into Capricorn on July 2, 2020, and then re-enters Aquarius on December 18, 2020.
What is the meaning of Saturn?
Saturn is a game changer and nothing will look the same. This planet will affect the world of business, governments and the global economy and these will all see improvements. We also have the North Node in the sign of Cancer which will put people in the spotlight followed by the natural world and then the economy.
The sign of Capricorn is the home sign of Saturn and for that reason, this is a strong and forceful time. Saturn is known as the Taskmaster of the Planets and tests people and things in its path. This is about the foundations of your world and your deepest desires and motivations. Saturn is also a planet that is about structure and creation. This is why Saturn is always linked to building new things and is focused on integrity of purpose. This is like your spiritual foundation in life. If you have areas that need improvement then Saturn will highlight these areas. In order to show you the changes that you need to make, Saturn will throw obstacles in your way until you master them. Saturn will reward, but only after you prove you are worthy!
This may all sounds a little heavy but Saturn is not a ‘bad’ planet by any means and will bless you if you work hard and are responsible and disciplined in your life. This is about a marathon rather than a sprint and Saturn also shows us how to be patient. You will, however, have to have a high level of integrity if you are going to achieve everything you want to achieve under Saturn in Capricorn. You may also have to answer for any past mistakes and make amends. This planet will show you what you need to do to achieve your goals and then push you in the right direction – although it may require a lot of hard work. With that in mind, think about your goals for the years ahead as Saturn is in Capricorn and gains strength over the next two years until it meets with Pluto in 2020.
Chiron:
Chiron moved into Aries on April 1, 2018.
Chiron is retrograde from July 4, 2018, to December 8, 2018, in Aries
Chiron will retrograde back into Pisces on September 25, 2018 and then move back into Aries on February 18, 2019.
What is the meaning of Chiron?
The big news for Chiron is that it moved into the sign of Aries in April 2018 from the sign of Pisces. This means that there was a shift from the watery energy of Pisces to the fire of Aries. In astrology, Chiron is known as the Wounded Healer and this is a time when you need to examine your wounds and know that they can help you as they make you human and remind you of your struggles. Everyone has that side of their nature and a part of them that is more vulnerable. Chiron allows us to heal from the things that have wounded us and which may have been holding us back in life. On the world stage, Chiron in Aries could bring about some new breakthroughs when it comes to the ways that we heal and the medical field may discover technology that promotes healing and overall health.
Pluto Retrograde:
Pluto will be retrograde on these dates:
April 22, 2018, to September 30, 2018, from 21 degrees to 18 degrees in the sign of Capricorn.
What is the meaning of Pluto Retrograde?
Pluto is known as the planet which is associated with death, transformation, and rebirth, which is the cornerstone of life itself. All things are born and all things die. This planet is also associated with power, obsessive behavior, sex, hidden agendas and secrets, and illegal behavior. It is also a planet that is focused on the breakdown of old ways of doing things and the rebirth of new structures in their place. Depending on the house or part of your life that Pluto is moving through, this part of your life will undergo a huge number of important changes which you will not be able to resist. The key here is to give in and allow these to happen. These can be rough at times as Pluto has a unique dark side which can shine a light on jealous feelings, guilt, revenge, hidden secrets and feelings of shame.
Many astrologers refer to the cycles of Pluto as like a phoenix rising from the ashes – a cycle of rebirth. This is about a new start in your life which is part of your wider life path. This can be a tumultuous time and there will be many bumps in the road but this also makes you feel energized and leads to freedom. The key now is exploration of all the new things coming your way and how you find a solution to the changes. There is no point in kicking against these now so you should focus your energy on finding peace and healing in your life.
Uranus:
Uranus is direct on January 2, 2018 Uranus moves into Taurus on May 15, 2018.
Uranus moves back into Aries on November 6, 2018, and then re-enters Taurus on March 6, 2019.
Uranus goes retrograde on August 7, 2018, to January 6, 2019, this is when I see the most changes coming in forward while Uranus stays in Taurus for the next 7 years, I also see later in 2019, & 2020, as years that will go down in history. Please read “Uranus in Taurus” what is coming in & how this will change not only us as humans, but, the world as a whole.
What is the meaning of Uranus?
Uranus moves into the sign of Taurus on May 15th, 2018 which is a massive astrological event and comes five months after Saturn moved into the sign of Capricorn. This is a positive event as they are in a trine position and this will last until September 2018. This is also an important change as it means that both planets are in earth signs having previously been in fire signs when Uranus was in Aries and Saturn was in Sagittarius. From May 2018 onwards we will see more in the way of building on earthy foundations and Uranus in Taurus is in perfect harmony with Saturn in the sign of Capricorn. This is all about building for the future and when change comes under Uranus (Planet of Surprises and Lightning Bolts) we may see that earthy and determined Taurus forces this planet to slow down. We will see a lot of earth changes! Banks, money, ect…Taurus rules banks, money,.
Neptune Retrograde:
Neptune will go retrograde on these dates:
June 18 to November 24, 2018, in Pisces
What is the meaning of Neptune Retrograde?
In astrology, Neptune has always been the planet associated with oceans and is known as the God of the Seas. This is also a planet associated with the journey of a person from the real world to the world of God and is about blurred lines and lack of boundaries. This is a planet that has no limits in astrology! This is about journeys in the mind and Neptune shines down and encourages these. With Neptune in the mix, you can see possibilities in life and you could have more in the way of psychic ability. Your vision for the future can be heightened and you can see a true path. Dreams may also seem more vivid and more prophetic. This is a magical time when you will feel more creative and there is a dreamy feeling of floating through your life. But, on the flipside, this is also a time when you can be prone to illusions and delusions. You can lose your sense of reality and you may also be in denial about the truth of a situation. When Neptune is retrograde it makes it hard to see what is real and what is not. You need to keep a good head on your shoulders to make sense of the real and the imagined and you will need to be patient on this journey. If Neptune touches any of your natal planets, always stick to what you know, always. Rather retrograde or not, stick to what you know.
Eclipses:
There will be eclipses on these dates:
Partial Solar Eclipse: July 13, 201 in Cancer at 21 degrees.
Total Lunar Eclipse: July 27, 2018 in Aquarius at 5 degrees.
Partial Solar Eclipse: August 11, 2018 in Leo at 19 degrees.
What is the meaning of eclipses?
A Solar or a Lunar eclipse is just a more significant version of a New Moon or a Full Moon. They cause energy to swirl around and are some of the most powerful astrological events you can ever witness. They also bring about endings and fresh starts.
The North Node:
The North Node will be in Leo and Aquarius from May 10, 2017, to November 6, 2018.
The North Node moves into the sign of Cancer from November 7, 2018, to May 5, 2020.
What is the meaning of the North Node?
The North Node is about your destiny or your life path. On the flipside, the South Node is about your past lives and the place where you should no longer focus your attention. When the North Node is in the sign of Leo, this is about following your heart. When it moves to Cancer, this is about your inner world and your home.

when Mercury is retrograde I lose all my tact and diplomacy and speak the harsh truth. Eventually it turns out to be the right thing to do. So, thanks God for Mercury retrograde!
